Step back in time for an experience you’ll never forget!
This unique 75 min tour will take you beneath the streets of Bristol’s old town to explore the biggest public air raid shelter in city. A complete time capsule and hidden gem.
Your tour begins above the street in front of the main entrance of the Corn Exchange on Corn Street. We begin by looking at Blitz damage above the street before heading into our shelter.
Your WW2 air raid Warden will then guide you through rooms which have remained untouched for 85 years. You’ll see original A.R.P posters, drawings left on the wall from the Blitz and explore our extensive collection of WW2 memorabilia!
You’ll then reemerge back into the 21st century in the nation’s no.1 covered market where you’ll find the best food stalls in the city!
